Priorities

Education

Providing next generations with in-demand knowledge and skills to excel

Many communities in Appalachia have been disproportionately impacted by economic and technological change.

The pace of change is occurring exponentially faster than it did just five years ago, requiring students and their communities to learn the skills and capabilities to contribute and compete in a rapidly changing environment.

The Wing 2 Wing Foundation supports charitable efforts that prioritize accessible education to prepare the next generation with the skills and capabilities necessary to succeed in a fast moving, increasingly digital world.

Working to increase access to educational opportunities for West Virginians is critical to our future success as we prepare our youth for the challenges of the 21st Century.

"In my time working alongside Brad and Alys, their unmatched generosity and innovation has impacted Marshall University in profound ways. They truly understand the importance of education and opportunity."

Dr. Ron Area, Chief Executive Officer & Senior Vice President, The Marshall University Foundation, Inc.
